About the event

The royalty and bullfighters will greet guests and then read rodeo books to the kids during storytime. After story time, we will have stick horse races, polebending races, and stick horse barrel races. Come learn to lasso roping dummies with local cowboys. You can pet Ruby, the miniature mare; Toy, a gelding horse; Snuggles, a lamb and Happy, his mama! You can take home lots of free horse magazines. Bell Mare books will be offering free color pages about Rodeo. The illustrator is a former Miss Rodeo Kansas. We will take pictures with the rodeo queens, and they will be signing autographs. For more information, contact Janet Ayers 620-273-6467.
