About the event
Maryam will share about her photographic journey that explores themes of migration, memory, displacement, and the search for belonging. Through documentary photography, personal archives, and experimental processes, her work reflects on how images can preserve stories, connect generations, and create bridges between the past and present. Following the talk, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a cyanotype workshop, where they will explore the relationship between photography, memory, and material transformation using this historic photographic process.
This program will take place at the Matfield Community Church at 205 Bocook St. Matfield Green, KS.
