Opera Workshop in the Flint Hills

The focus is on helping opera singers find their acting talents and execute them naturally and logically while maintaining the disciplines necessary for the body to function as a singing “instrument” optimally.

Scenes from different operas and operettas will be staged based on the level and capabilities of the participants. Students participate in a 2-week workshop culminating with two performances at the recently renovated Chase County Junior/Senior High School Auditorium.
